CLASSICAL GUITARISTS
We also represent many classical guitarists. They are a great alternative to a harpist and are able to move from one location to another quickly!
EDWARD
Edward studied classical guitar with the late George Clinton. He gave his first recital when he was 16 at Burgh House. He soon diversified and became a leading exponent of Flemenco guitar. Since moving to Brighton in 1970 Edward has become a well-known teacher of both Classical and Flemenco guitar. He taught for over 20 years at the University of Brighton and now teaches at Roedean and St. Aubyns. Edward has frequently performed both styles
of guitar and in 1994 recorded his first CD playing recorder duets with Galina Mendes.
He has also written three teaching books covering styles of guitar from Classical and Romantic through to Folk and Blues. He has played at many venues including the Royal Pavilion and the Grand Hotel in Brighton.
